Fence Restoration
The fences have been refinished by PerFarmance Powdercoating and by April 2014, we'll have them paid for. We're hoping they last for many years to come. Thanks for your patience with having them down for a few months. We're hoping to get the small posts along the Colonnade and the small bridge refinished in 2015 as funds become available. |

Development news
The mall at Rocky Ridge and Royal Oak drive should be complete in spring of 2014 and there will be a Royal Oak Estates sign on the corner of the development. We are working with the developer and the City to see if we will be able to put a sign at the top of the community on Royal Oak Drive. We have permission from Parks (in principle) to put a sign there, we just need to find out from the City if it's possible and if there are any issues that would keep us from erecting a permanent sign.

AGM
We're planning an AGM for March 2014, watch your mailbox for the notice letter, and please attend. Tell your neighbors about it, so we can get a good turnout and hear what is important to our residents.

Dogs and taggers reminder
If you see any grafitti, call 3-1-1 and they will come out and try to remove it, or contact us and we will try to remove it as well. Please keep your dog on-leash and pick up after them. None of Royal Oak Estates is an off-leash area, including the ponds area. You may know that your dog is safe to be off leash—but people you encounter won't know that—it also sets a bad example for residents with less well behaved dogs. If you see a dog off leash and don't want an encounter with the owner, you can always call 3-1-1 to make a complaint. Please don't let your dog or children go into the storm ponds, the water is not clean or safe to go into—since it is filled with water that drains off of the roads, peoples yards, etc. |

Hop on board
Your Board needs you, your expertise and your energy. You can be a decision maker in the way your community will look in the future. The good thing is it's volunteer AND unpaid, the best thing is you get to meet a lot of great people and learn stuff you didn't know you needed to know. Join in; it's a lot more rewarding and interesting than you can imagine!
| Pond rocks |
Please make your children aware that throwing the stones from around the ponds into the water (or onto the ice) is something to refrain from. If people continue to do this, we won't have any stones around the ponds. They are also costly to replace.
