Springtime changes

The fountains are being repaired this year and will be in the ponds soon. Foothills should be putting flowers in the beds and pots soon as well. That's right; we've signed another years contract with Foothills Landscaping.

New sign

Calgary Parks has agreed "in principle" to us constructing a sign in the park at the top of Royal Oak Drive. We are currently working through the process needed for a development permit. As far as the demolition and replacement of the old signage at the entrance to the community at Rocky Ridge Road and Royal Oak Drive by the developer–there's nothing new to report since the last newsletter.

Fencing

All homeowners are required to keep their fences in good repair. But it's especially important for the homes along Royal Oak Drive to keep up their fences–since this is what people travelling through our community all see. If yours is one of these homes, we've put some helpful tips up on the website to keep your fence in tip-top condition. If you need more information, contact your board today.
Some folks may have noticed one of the fence panels at the tot-lot on Royal Oak Drive has bee pushed in by a car, we are waiting on the contractor that will be repairing it, it should take about six weeks to replace.

Care for the community

Spring always brings out the grafitti taggers, we've already had to remove some grafitti. If you see any grafitti, call 3-1-1 and they will come out and try to remove it, or contact us and we will try to remove it as well. You can also use 3-1-1 to report people with dogs on the loose, and people who don't clean up after their dogs.
